We run THE CUDDLY LANE from our real home in Bristol BS5. Dogs don't come into a facility — they come into our living room, our garden, and our lives.

Our story

Why we started THE CUDDLY LANE

We created THE CUDDLY LANE simply because we love dogs — every breed, every size, every personality.

While their family is away, we hope to give them the love and care they deserve. Our goal has always been to provide a true home from home — a place where every dog feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved, not just looked after.

That's why everything happens in our real home in Bristol BS5. Dogs come into our living room, our garden, and our daily lives. They sleep on our sofas, walk with us, and leave paw prints on our hearts. Where you can WhatsApp us any time and get a real response from one of us — not a chatbot.

Sixty-plus great reviews later, we're still as proud of each dog's first settled nap in our home as we were the very first time.

About Tong-tong

Tong-tong is our own dog — a mixed Taiwanese breed we fostered before moving from Taiwan to Bristol, and now a much-loved member of our family at THE CUDDLY LANE.

Every dog who comes to stay or visit gets to meet Tong-tong first. She's friendly, easy-going and great company, and she helps new dogs feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Having our own dog means we know exactly what it feels like to leave someone you love in someone else's care — so we treat every dog that stays with us the way we'd want Tong-tong to be treated.
